      How the pit works

      1. Stake. One stake per wallet per pit, 0.001 to 0.04 ETH, for holders of 10,000 $SPLITPIT. Up to 20 stakes a pit.
      2. The song. The second stake starts a 10-minute song. Stakes are open until it ends.
      3. The split. When the song ends the biggest stake pays 40% of itself. On a tie, the stake placed last pays.
      4. Equal shares. Every smaller stake gets the same share of that 40%, whatever its size. Small stakes gain the most.
      5. Payout. Every stake comes back: the biggest keeps 60%, the rest get their stake plus their share. No house cut. The next pit opens on the same block.
      6. Alone. A stake alone in a pit whose song never started can walk out whole.
